MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Police Juvenile Unit is actively investigating the Stanton Park shooting, which took place just after midnight on August 27, 2017. The 17-year-old victim was released from the hospital after being treated for his non-life threatening gunshot wound. Investigators have reason to believe the incident occurred near the park, but not necessarily inside of the park, as previously reported.

The egregious act of violence does not appear to be random and investigators believe there are additional witnesses to the incident.

If you witnessed the event or heard gunshots at the time of the shooting, please contact the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711 and ask for the Juvenile Unit. You may also make an anonymous tip online to Manchester CrimeLine or call 603-624-4040.

You may be eligible for a cash reward should your tip lead to the identification and apprehension of a person(s) responsible for this crime.
