Stabbing incident leads to arrest

MANCHESTER, NH — Police arrested Joshua Peckham Friday after an altercation that ended in a stabbing.

On December 6, 2019, at approximately 3:15 p.m. Manchester Police responded to 1235 Elm St. for a report of a stabbing. When police arrived they learned that two men had a fight in a second-floor apartment. At some point during the altercation, Peckham allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other person in the leg. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Peckham was charged with first-degree assault. Police also learned that Peckham had two outstanding warrants, one was an electronic bench warrant for aggravated assault and another for second-degree assault.  Those were added to his charges.
