carol 3I love a good parade and Manchester put on another great one! The weather held out and I could feel the sun on our backs which kept us warm. I stood at Harrison Street with a good friend of mine, Sue. This was her second time going and now she is hooked!

Everyone loves clowns and music and this parade had plenty of that.

My favorite of all will always be the Bektash & Melha Shriners fellers riding around in their little cars and jeeps! The smiles on those men’s faces, tell me that it brings them back to their childhood of being a kid again for a few hours! What a thrill just watching them. Their smiles lit up Elm Street!

The Londonderry Lancers High School marching band and Color guard, were simply amazing and huge! There was also music that filled the air with Manchester High School West, Muchachos, Sons of Italy, Bedford High School, Bishop Guertin High School, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Blue Knights, William Diamond group, all marching bands.

We also had Irish music with dancers, from the JIG factory, In the Field, McGonagle, McDonough Grimes, and St. Joseph’s. Let’s not forget the awesome bagpipers and their great skills. The Hibernian, NHPA, pipes and drum, Sudbury Fife and Drum. The Middlesex County Volunteers of Massachusetts.

You got to see our Grand Marshall, Al Heidenreich, Miss NH, Miss Teen NH, Miss Liberty Teen and Miss Majorette of America.

We saw the Gym Dandies bicyclists, and Star Wars characters. Manchester’s finest with their horse and dogs.

Our own, Mayor Ted Gatzas.

If I forgot anyone I am sorry as I am trying to read the flags in my photos and some were windblown and it’s hard to do so. It was a fun day and this little lady loved every minute of it! Thanks so much!

If anyone would like to make copies of any photo, please tag and go for it. I give you permission to do so. Thanks for a good time, once again, Manchester!

Well done! Well done!
