David Jordan, 25, of  Manchester was arrested Sept. 28, charged with reckless driving and disobeying an officer after he was clocked at 136 mph on the F. E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua, and failed to stop for a State Police Trooper in pursuit.

At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 28 NH State Police Trooper J. Quigley of Troop B, spotted a red Mercedes Benz sedan driven by Jordan traveling northbound on the Everett Turnpike at a high rate of speed. The vehicle passed Trooper Quigley’s  cruiser in excess of 100 m.p.h. and did so while making multiple lane changes, crossing the width of the turnpike.

Trooper Quigley activated his lights and siren and and caught up to the Mercedes. Rather than stop, Jordan changed lanes, passed through traffic and continued to accelerate his vehicle ultimately reaching the speed of 136 m.p.h.

Jordan finally stopped on the Exit 8 off-ramp where he was taken into custody without further incident. He is due to appear in the Nashua Circuit Court for arraignment on November 5, 2014.

The State Police ask if there are any witnesses to this incident to please call Trooper Quigley at 603-223-8307.
