MANCHESTER, NH – Election Day comes early for voters in NH’s District 16 which includes Manchester Wards 1, 2 and 12 as well as Bow, Dunbarton, Candia, and Hooksett. The special election is being held July 25 to fill the State Senate seat left vacant after the sudden passing of Sen. Scott McGilvray in March.
On the ballot:
Republican David Boutin of Hooksett, Democrat Kevin Cavanaugh of Manchester, and Libertarian Jason Dubrow of Dunbarton.
Even if you haven’t been following the candidates closely, but do plan to vote, there’s time to brush up and do your civic duty.
