MANCHESTER, NH – Skiers will be thrilled to know that New Hampshire is finally on track for some substantial winter snow.
The rest of us: Get ready to shovel.
According to the National Weather Service, a weak system will bring light snow to the area on Friday morning followed by a weekend winter storm expected to bring double-digit snowfall across the region Saturday into Sunday night, with heaviest accumulation overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Some projections are 18 to 24 inches, but it’s too soon to know.
Suffice it to say that bread and milk will be in high demand at your favorite grocery store. Plan ahead and stock up on football-watching snacks.
We’ll keep you posted.
