Police executed the search warrant at a home in the 600 block of Smyth Road at approximately 10:40 a.m. Thursday once they located and arrested Christina Stratton, 28, of Manchester, the target of the investigation, during a motor vehicle stop.

Police stopped Stratton in her 2008 Ford Edge at North and Ash streets around 10:30 a.m. yesterday. Stratton was with her 1-year-old daughter at the time of the motor vehicle stop. Stratton’s mother was contacted to pick up the young child once Stratton was placed into custody.

Stratton was arrested on an outstanding warrant (sale of a controlled drug) but a search prior to her arrest revealed she was in possession of 7.4 grams of crack cocaine, 4.4 grams of heroin and more than $7,100 cash. Stratton was additionally charged with two counts possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell.

Detectives executed a search warrant at the Smyth Road home following Stratton’s arrest and located $58,460 and 90 Klonopin pills hidden in her child’s bedroom. They also located over $5,800 worth of gift cards and 30.4 grams of marijuana inside the home. Stratton was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior on November 3, 2017.
