Shots fired on Central Street hit nearby houses

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police were called to the area of Central Street, between Milton Street and Belmont Street, around 8:45 p.m.on Sept. 24 for a report of shots fired in the area. Several witnesses observed two vehicles on Central Street moments before they heard multiple gunshots, with at least two striking nearby houses.

A newer model white vehicle believed to be a Chevrolet Camaro and an older model tan-colored vehicle were both parked on Central Street when the gunshots were heard. It is unknown how many people were involved, but it appears the shots may have been fired from the vehicles. At least two houses and one vehicle were struck in the incident and multiple shell casing were collected on scene.
