Shots fired on Elm Street

CruiserMANCHESTER, NH — On August 13, 2016 at approximately 2 a.m. Officers Casey Finn and Detective Tom Gonzales located an intoxicated subject passed out in the parking lot of Triangle Credit Union, 257 Elm St. A short time later American Medical Response (AMR) Emergency Personnel arrived to transport the subject to the hospital.

A single gunshot and loud crack was heard by those on scene, with the round believed to travel past them and over their heads. The gun shot appeared to originate from the wooded area behind AL Prime Gas, 276 Elm Street. A large perimeter was established from Queen City Bridge to the Merrimack River was established. A search of the area was completed, with the assistance of K9 Teams, NH State Police Troopers and Police detail Officers but no suspects or evidence was located. No injuries were reported.
