MANCHESTER, NH – The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and Intown Manchester Management, Inc., are partnering for the second year to bring Small Business Saturday to Manchester on November 25, 2017. Small Business Saturday is a shopping tradition, held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, dedicated to supporting small businesses and celebrating communities across the country.

“Manchester has no shortage of shops, restaurants, galleries and museums, making this time of year a fantastic opportunity to attract visitors to the city, so they can really see all of the incredible amenities that we have to offer,” said Lauren Getts, Member Communications Manager, GMCC.

“Small businesses are encouraged to market that they are participating in Small Business Saturday, open their doors, extend their hours and offer an incentive for shoppers,” said Trixie Vazquez, Development and Community Relations Coordinator, Intown Manchester. “Ideally, shoppers and visitors will be discovering some of their new favorite places while businesses will be connecting with the community … it is a win-win!”

Some of the deals being offered on Small Business Saturday include: complementary gift wrapping, restaurant gift certificate deals, percentages off museum shop purchases, exercise class discounts, music lesson discounts, retail shop discounts & more – including FREE PARKING Saturday, on Elm Street, and adjoining side streets from Orange Street to Lake Avenue, as well as in the Victory Garage.
