Several emergency crews sent to youth recovery center

MANCHESTER, NH — Several ambulances were dispatched Monday night to a youth recovery center on River Road.

The call went out just before 8:30 p.m. for medical assistance to the center at 1056 River Road, which shares space with the Sununu Youth Detention Center.
According to emergency scanner broadcasts the original call was for help with an overdose. After the  arrival of Engine 5, more ambulances were requested including two from AMR, which covers Manchester, as well as ambulances from
 from Goffstown and Hooksett
All ambulance transported one patient each with a member of law enforcement in each ambulance. Patients were transported to two local hospitals.
MFD District Chief Dave Patten declined to comment as all patients were under age 18.
