MANCHESTER, NH – A single-vehicle crash shut down traffic at a section of Maple Street Monday afternoon.
At about 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 18 a vehicle was heading northbound on Maple Street when it struck two parked cars and rolled over.
A female passenger appeared to have been ejected from the car, and a trauma alert was activated at the Elliot Hospital. The male driver was able to get himself out of the vehicle, and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He told rescuers he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Manchester Fire Engine 11 and Rescue One responded, as well as two AMR ambulances
The accident is under investigation by Manchester Police.
The accident closed Maple Street at Nashua Street while the scene was cleared.
Manchester Fire District Chief Alfred Poulin was in command at the scene.
