Everyone gets down once in a while. No one’s life is lived in a straight line. And sometimes we take two steps forward and one step back.

His question falls in line with similar questions I’ve seen in recent days on my Facebook feed, like, “Where do I belong?, and “Who is true?” All these questions are connected and all are a part of daily life.

As we try to maintain our sanity in times of stress and turmoil, these questions need answers. We are deceived when we begin to believe men are true, because they simply are not. Where a person belongs can change. And figuring out what we are here for, anyway, is the whole point of being.

We must look for who is true. We must learn where we belong and best of all, we are here for each other, and not to be overly selfish!

Only God is true, even for those who don’t believe. People are not true all of the time; we are fallible humans. God is always true, all the time, so put your faith in Him.

If we were created by God, then we belong with Him. We need to be where He wants us and we need to learn to be satisfied with that. Our Father in heaven isn’t always concerned with our happiness. He uses our difficult periods to help us see and understand things from another side.
