Fisher Cats fans looking to watch their team face off against the Erie SeaWolves on Tuesday will have to wait, a postponement announcement occurred around 3:30 p.m., citing rainy conditions for the decision.

This marks the eighth postponed game of the year for the Fisher Cats, seven of them coming at home.

New Hampshire will now play a double header against the Detroit Tigers’ Double-A affiliate on Wednesday. The two seven-inning games will begin at 10:35 a.m.

Erie’s probable starters remain unnamed as of Tuesday afternoon. New Hampshire’s starter for Tuesday’s game, now likely to start in the first Wednesday game, is Connor Greene (2-4, 3.66 ERA).

Wednesday’s original probable starter for New Hampshire is Francisco Rios (3-4, 3.93 ERA).

Velcro Companies Reading Challenge participants that would still like to play catch on the field can redeem their tickets from Tuesday’s game for Thursday, June 8 and play catch on the field from 5:35 – 5:55 p.m.
