Rainy conditions on Thursday night have postponed the fourth game of this week’s four-game series between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs.

While the game now will occur as part of a future doubleheader, there is currently no set date for the makeup contest.

This marks the sixth game postponement of the year in Manchester, and the second this week.

Now the Fisher Cats will welcome the Reading Fightin’ Phils to Northeast Delta Dental Stadium before leaving for Harrisburg on Tuesday.

Prior to the postponement notice, New Hampshire’s Chris Rowley (1-1, 1.80 ERA) and Reading’s Drew Anderson (3-1, 5.26 ERA) were the scheduled starters in Saturday’s contest, set to begin at 6:35 p.m.

Earlier in the day, the Fisher Cats placed Emilio Guerrero on the 7-Day Disabled List for undisclosed reasons. In his place, first baseman Matt Dean earned promotion to New Hampshire from Advanced-A Dunedin.
