MANCHESTER, NH – One person was injured in an early-morning crash Jan. 5 involving a school bus on the city’s West Side.

The driver of an SUV was transported to Catholic Medical Center after sliding into the path of an Easter Seals school bus at College Avenue and Mast Road,  hitting it head on.

Sunday’s precipitation and frigid overnight temperatures left a residue of black ice on many city roads and intersections Monday morning, resulting in several accidents, including this one.

Bus passengers were checked at the scene by Manchester fire and rescue personnel, but no injuries were sustained.
