MANCHESTER, NH — If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then here are about 88,000+ expressions of Christmas cheer captured during the annual Manchester Christmas Parade.
Although there was no rain or snow, the wind and cold was the biggest challenge for those marching in the parade — we saw pieces of floats blowing away in the wind, and children wrapped like winter mummies.
But the wintry weather didn’t stop hundreds of people from lining Elm Street to cheer on the colorful and creative floats, which culminated in the guests of honor, Santa and Mrs. Claus, who were riding in a vintage fire truck, led by some mighty handsome reindeer.
