MANCHESTER, NH – The total combined opioid ODs for May 2018 in the state’s two largest cities of Nashua and Manchester were 82 with 4 of those being fatalities and 0 additional fatalities pending toxicology confirmation.

Fatalities are now down in both cities in the last 365 days.

NOTABLE SUMMARY FOR MAY 2018

  • Manchester ODs are up 11 percent in the last 365 days
  • Manchester OD deaths are down 26 percent in the last 365 days
  • Nashua ODs are up 9 percent in the last 365 days
  • Nashua OD deaths are down 2 percent in the last 365 days
  • People have now used a Nashua or Manchester Safe Station for access to help over 5,200 times

NASHUA

  • For the month of May 2018 there were 26 opioid ODs
  • For the month of May 2018 there was 1 confirmed opioid death and 0 pending toxicology confirmation
