MANCHESTER, NH  – Free family fun, food, a bounce house, music, giveaways and other activities will be featured this Saturday, June 9 as The YMCA of Downtown Manchester hosts its annual Rock the Block event.

image001From 1 – 3 p.m., Mechanic Street in the heart of downtown Manchester will be closed to vehicle traffic and transformed into a free family centered event open to the community.

“Rock the Block 2018 is our chance to thank our members for their support and welcome the community to check out our facility and program offerings,” said Troy Laprise, Associate Branch Director of The YMCA of Downtown Manchester. The event will feature a broad range of activities for the whole family such as a bouncy house, Zumba, dance performances, a close-up view of a fire truck, family yard activities, and so much more.

In addition to the events taking place outside on Mechanic Street, participants are encouraged to take a tour of the branch.
