MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to Stop-N-Go, 188 Massabesic Street at 12:10 p.m. May 31 for an armed robbery. The man was armed with a “sharp stone” when he approached the clerk, Manoj Karrola, and demanded cash. The evening clerk, Krish Myla, called police at 6:42 p.m. and stated the man, later identified as Carlos Reyes, 46, of Manchester, identified himself as the person who robbed the store earlier in the day.

Myla called police and said the alleged robber had arrived at the store to “turn himself in.” According to Myla, Reyes walked into the store at 6:42 p.m. and began crying. The man allegedly showed up at the store to return the cash he stole earlier in the day.

Officer Casey Finn arrived on scene and spoke with both the clerk and Reyes. Officer Finn placed Reyes into custody after viewing the surveillance photographs taken earlier in the day. Officer Finn determined Reyes was the same man who robbed the store, so he placed him into custody and charged him with robbery.

Reyes is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on June 1, 2016.
