May 14, 2019, 2:30 p.m. ARREST UPDATE: Alleged ‘bat man’ robber arrested, charged in 3 robberies

MANCHESTER, NH — There has been a second report in as many days of a convenience store robbery by a man wielding a baseball bat.

Just before 5 a.m. Manchester Police officers responded to the 7 Eleven located at 117 Queen City Ave. for the report of an attempted armed robbery.

The robber entered the store displaying a baseball bat and demanded money from the clerk. When the clerk refused to comply with his demands, the robber quickly fled the store and was last seen running toward Brown Avenue.

The robber is described as a white male, brown eyes, approximately 5-foot-10-inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black Northface jacket with the hood up, a black bandana with white dots covering his face, black pants, and yellow gloves.

The description of the robber is similar to that of a man who robbed a Goffstown Cumberland’s Farm early Monday, also holding a baseball bat.

If you have information leading to the identification of the suspect(s), please contact the Manchester Police Detective Unit at 792-5500 and reference MPD Case # 19-6664. You may also contact Manchestercrimeline.org   or call 624-4040 to provide your crime tip.
