Robber gets away with cash from West Side Rite Aid

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to Rite Aid, 122 McGregor St., at approximately 5:10 a.m. Dec. 2 for an unarmed robbery. Officer Alexander Martens spoke with the 68-year-old clerk who described the incident as follows:

The clerk claimed a man approached the counter with an item and handed her money, which prompted her to open the cash drawer. The suspect immediately reached toward the open cash drawer and grabbed an unknown amount of cash. He was demanding cash from the victim as she closed the register drawer on his hand. Her actions caused the suspect to flee the store.

According to the clerk, the robber was a black male wearing dark colored pants, a gray hooded style jacket which was cinched around his head, a white bandanna on his face and black framed glasses. He was last seen walking out of the store. If you have information regarding the suspect, please contact the Manchester Police Department at 668-8711 reference Case # 17-19248.
