MANCHESTER, NH – Police seek the public’s help in identifying a robber who entered the 7-Eleven, 111 Webster St., at approximately 12:20 a.m. Friday and left with cash.

The clerk told police that he was behind the register when a man entered the store and approached the counter. He said the man placed several items on the counter then demanded cash from the register as he held one hand inside of his sweatshirt pocket. He said the robber alluded to being armed with a handgun based on the position of his hand inside of the pocket. He was not sure if it was a handgun or his hand, so he complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a white male,  approximately 50 years old, approximately 5-foot-11, with an unshaven face. He was wearing a dark colored, possibly navy blue hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants. A vehicle was seen leaving the gas pumps shortly after the man walked outside of the store.

The vehicle is described as a newer model dark-colored Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan. It is unknown if the vehicle was involved in the actual robbery because the clerk did not see the man enter the vehicle.
