MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating an armed robbery early Tuesday at the CVS on Mammoth Road.
At approximately 6:10 a.m., police officers responded to CVS Pharmacy, 271 Mammoth Road. The clerk reported a man entered the store and stood in line, while the clerk cashed out a female customer. When the cash register drawer opened, the suspect pushed aside the female customer and brandished a switchblade knife. The suspect ordered the clerk to give him the money. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 inches tall, 40-50 years of age, chubby build with facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue Disney T-shirt, bright orange shorts and flip flops.
