MANCHESTER, NH — Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Beech Street 7-Eleven which happened Thursday evening.
On Dec. 10 at approximately 10 p.m. police officers responded to the 7-Eleven, 242 Beech St., for a reported armed robbery. The clerk reported that at approximately 8:36 p.m. a robber entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk told police he did not immediately call police because he thought a by-passer called 911.
The robber fled with an undetermined amount of cash, last seen running toward Union Street.
The robber is described as 20-25, about 5-foot-5 inches tall, short brown hair, wearing a blue or black bandanna-style mask over his chin, brown sweatshirt or jacket with a long white or grey undershirt protruding from underneath, baggy black jeans and dark shoes.
