Screen Shot 2016-07-21 at 8.28.18 AMMANCHESTER, NH – A ribbon-cutting and clinic was held July 21 at the newly renovated basketball courts at Sheridan-Emmitt Park, 324 Beech St., on July. Welcome remarks were made by brothers Matt Bonner and Luke Bonner.

The Bonner Brothers talked about the significance of the courts, the renovation project, and their Rock On Foundation, which supports sports, arts, and academics, and Manchester basketball standout, Sam Carey.

Sam’s father, Owen Carey, was  on-site along with Doc Wheeler and Stan Spiro.  The Bonner brothers announced the first shots made at all 4 hoops. Also on hand, the Boston Celtics “Green Team” and Lucky the Leprechaun Trampoline Dunk.

A free 90-minute youth basketball clinic hosted by Matt and Luke followed the ceremony. The event is sponsored in part by Manchester Community Policing Division.
