Reminder: MPD Drug Take Back Day Sept. 27

On Saturday September 27 you can dispose of your unused prescription drugs between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the New Hampshire National Guard Armory, located at 771 Canal Street Manchester, NH 03101.

The event is part of a national initiative to make sure al unused medications are properly disposed of in a hassle-free way. Saturday’s Drug Take Back Day by Manchester Police Department is co-sponsored by the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the New Hampshire National Guard.  All unused prescription drugs will be properly disposed of if you drop them off during the aforementioned times.

If you aren’t sure what qualifies, err on the side of caution and bring any unused or expired medications. The drop off process is simple and anonymous.
