MANCHESTER, NH — The 2019 New Hampshire 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb took place Sept. 9 at the Fisher Cats Stadium. The event is meant to honor and remember the first responders —  firefighters, police, and EMS — who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, in the line of duty during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.

Each participant on the annual stair climb pays tribute to one of the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 10 EMS members who lost their lives by climbing the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center in their memory.
The Stair Climb benefits the Fire Department of NY Counseling Service Unit and the programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to support the families of our nation’s fallen firefighters. Learn more here.
