Rededication of Harriman Park at 2 p.m. June 27

MANCHESTER, NH – Come out for the rededication of Harriman Park, located on the corner of Lake Avenue and Hall Street. The park was recently renovated using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds granted through the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development. Exciting new park features include: two new playground structures, flower beds, walking paths, benches and swings!

A Rededication Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting honoring the ultimate sacrifice made by Lt. Lynn Harriman in WWI and celebrating the rejuvenated life this park will bring to the neighborhood is set for  June 27 at 2 p.m.

Events to include: History of the Park by John Clayton, Rededication Ceremony by Sweeney Post #2, Manchester Police Department-Mounted Unit, Manchester Fire Department-Fire Engine and light refreshments. Kids Welcome!
