MANCHESTER, NH — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a woman who was caught on film taking a purse belonging to an employee of the Dunkin Donuts at the Elliot Hospital on Friday.

On December 23, 2016 at 3:25 p.m. Officer Brandon Langton responded to the Dunkin Donuts at the Elliot Hospital for a reported theft. Dunkin Donut’s Manager Rebecca St. Laurent reported that earlier in the day she had placed her pocket book next to a table and left it and went back to work. She returned a few minutes later and her purse was gone. She sought assistance from Elliot Security Officers who located her purse but her wallet and her life savings had been taken.

Elliot Security Officers were able to review surveillance recordings and observed a female suspect take the purse and leave the store and exit through the emergency department. The thief is described as a woman, 5-foot-5 inches tall, thin build, dark hair, wearing a long black puffy jacket.

The Manchester Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this purse thief. If anyone has information they can contact the Manchester Police Department at (603) 668-8711 or Manchester Crimeline online, or by calling 603-624-4040.
