Purse-snatcher grabs bag from elderly woman’s walker

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking for a purse-snatcher who grabbed a purse from an elderly woman’s walker, and ran off with it.

At about 5 p.m. on November 28 Manchester Police Officer Michael Roscoe was flagged down in the area of Granite and Main streets for a robbery.

The 78-year-old female victim told police that she had been standing on the corner of Granite and Main and was accessing her purse which was attached to her walker. The victim stated that as she did a man grabbed her black Coach purse from her hand and fled south on foot.

The robber was last seen running west on Clinton Street from South Main Street. He was described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket and a black hat. The robber was reported to be unarmed at the time of this robbery.
