MANCHESTER, NH – The Puritan will mark its 100th Anniversary with a day-long celebration on April 5, 2017.
The legacy goes back to 1917, when Arthur Pappas and Louis Canotas opened the first Puritan on Hanover Street in Manchester, and it remains in the family to this day.
Activities on Wednesday include free cones at the ice cream window (beginning at 8 a.m.), an open house in the Pappas function room with live Greek music in the evening, and door prizes and retro menu specials in the Backroom Restaurant (open at 11 a.m.)
Everyone’s invited to join in the festivities as the Puritan officially launches its second century in business.
The Puritan is located at 245 Hooksett Road in Manchester.
