Take the mess of pumpkin decorating out of the house, and win prizes for doing it. People of all ages are welcome to enter a pumpkin into the competition. For the entry fee of $5 per pumpkin, entrants are free to use studio decoration supplies, such as sharpie markers, acrylic paints, and basic carving knives and spoons (adults only).  Alternatively, pumpkins may also be decorated at home and dropped off finished before judging begins at 1PM. There is no cost to observe, and visitors are welcome!

Judging criteria: Pumpkins may be carved, hollowed out, painted, dressed up, bedazzled, or embellished any way. The Studio judges love original creative work, so no decoration kits, please! Pumpkins will be assigned a number and judged anonymously. Jurors will be looking for craftsmanship, creativity, and overall impact, keeping in mind the age categories. Pumpkin size does not matter.

Grand prize for kids (under 12): Family Clay Workshop

Grand prize for older kids (12-18): A choice of handmade pottery

Grand prize for adults (18-up): A Date Night in the Pottery Studio for two
