Manchester School LogoMANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Board of School Committee has established a special subcommittee to focus on the task of redistricting city schools. Along with district administration, the subcommittee will consider various scenarios and areas of concern, while making sure that the results allow us to continue giving all of our students across the city the best education we can.

Gathering community input is one component of the redistricting process. The public is invited to attend the first meeting of the special subcommittee on redistricting on Thursday, March 31.

The agenda will identify the educational goals of what we want redistricting to accomplish, and then establish a timeline for redistricting. No specific plans will be discussed. Any Manchester resident who wishes to speak may do so for three minutes. The Board of School Committee members and administrators will listen and take those remarks into consideration.

Additional meeting times will be announced as they are scheduled.
