MANCHESTER, NH – Officer Chad Tennis and Nathan Harrington observed a man defacing a garage door with a can of spray paint in the rear of 177 Hanover St. at 9:25 p.m. on Nov. 1. The officers were heading to a separate call for service when they noticed the criminal mischief in progress, so they stopped the cruiser and attempted to speak with the man, later identified as Anthony Dow, 41, no fixed address.

Dow allegedly dropped a can of spray paint and ran to a nearby vehicle while ignoring the officer’s commands to stop. Officer Shaun McKennedy located Dow near Derryfield Park within 10 minutes of the original call and conducted a motor vehicle stop. He arrested Dow, 41 and charged him with falsifying physical evidence, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.

Dow was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on November 16, 2017.
