Police seeking this man after Friday-night stabbing at Mr. Market

MANCHESTER, NH – On the evening of September 22, 2017, at approximately 7 p.m., Manchester Police Officers responded to a stabbing at Mr. Market convenience store located at 297 Spruce St. Upon arrival, Officers located an adult male victim with a non-life-threatening laceration to his left forearm. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim and witnesses told officers that they had chased a subject to the store from outside a nearby residence, after this subject had displayed a knife during a fight. They were attempting to keep the subject locked inside the store by holding the door closed, until police could arrive. The subject managed to escape at which point he allegedly stabbed the victim and then fled on foot.

During the ensuing investigation into this incident, members of the Investigative Division, working with the Gang Prevention Unit, identified the victim’s attacker as Chad Nagy, 18, of Manchester. There is currently an active felony arrest warrant for Nagy, charging him with 1st-degree assault and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. Nagy should be considered armed and dangerous. Nagy is described as 5-foot-7 inches tall, 145 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
