MANCHESTER, N.H. – Police are looking for information on a suspicious man following a Sunday incident on Cedar Street.

Around midnight, a Cedar Street resident was returning to his home from work and spotted a man standing in the street near his house. Approximately 90 minutes later, the resident was leaving for McDonalds and the man was still outside his home.

When the resident returned from McDonalds, the man was still there, and this time was putting on a ski mask and walking toward him, pulling a gun out of his pocket.

The resident returned to his car and then heard a loud bang that sounded like a gunshot.

Police did not find any evidence of gunfire. There was no evidence of damage to nearby buildings or reports of injuries.

The man was described as Caucasian, with a red sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. Anyone with information is requested to call police at 603-668-8711
