Police seek robbers after 2 men assault woman at park, grab her purse

MANCHESTER, NH – A 70-year-old female was the victim of a robbery at 7:35 p.m.Oct. 30 while walking in the area of Sheridan Emmet Park. She was walking on Pine Street when two unknown males pushed her to the ground and forcefully took her purse.

The thieves ran toward Green Street immediately after stealing her brown purse, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, a cell phone and her driver’s license. The victim declined medical treatment even though she injured her leg during the attack. She was unable to provide descriptions of the men, but noted they both wore dark colored clothing and were Hispanic.
