MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police are seeking the public’s assistance in an attempt to locate a female assailant involved in a robbery on June 25.
The robber approached the 24-year-old clerk and demanded cash around 8:30 p.m. at Shawn’s Corner Market, 912 Somerville St.
However, the clerk originally refused to comply even though the suspect kept her hand inside of a pocket and made statements about “not playing around.” The robber jumped on top of the counter and scared the female clerk, who opened the cash register drawer. The robber removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before she fled on foot.
She is described as a a white female, approximately 5-foot-2 to 5-foot 3 inches tall with blonde hair and pale skin. She was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, dark sunglasses and black sneakers. There was no weapon displayed during the robbery.
