Police search for Calumet House inmate who fled on foot

MANCHESTER, NH — On December 13, 2016 at approximately 8:10 p.m.,  Dennis Holland, 36,  escaped from the NH State Prison System – Calumet Halfway House for Men. State Police say Holland fled on foot from corrections officers and was last seen heading east on Lowell Street. Both State Police and Manchester Police Department responded using police dogs to attempt tracking him.

Holland is 5-feet-8 inches tall, 177 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.  He was reportedly wearing jeans and a mickey mouse shirt when he escaped. He is currently serving time for felony level robbery, felony level criminal mischief and felony level theft by unauthorized taking.  His earliest release date would have been July of 2017.

Investigators from the State Police and Department of Corrections would ask that if anyone has information regarding Holland’s whereabouts or comes into contact with him contact the State Police (271-3636) or Department of Corrections (271-1804)
