Police say Green Street shooting involved two groups

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Police are reporting that the shots fired in the Green Street area last night was connected to an altercation between two groups known to police.

In a statement released Tuesday morning by police, the groups began firing at each other in the area of the basketball courts at Sheridan-Emmett Park and the sidewalk near the area of 255 Green St.

No one was injured, but a building and a car were damaged.

Police are continuing the investigation into the matter, but witnesses are not yet fully cooperating at this point, police said.
