Police say 2 weekend West Side armed robberies are linked

MANCHESTER, NH – Police now believe they are looking for one suspect involved in two armed robberies of West Side convenience stores over the weekend.

The robber walked into Crosstown Variety, 77 Bremer St., on Saturday January 7, at 7:15 p.m. while armed with a handgun demanding cash.

One store is a five-minute walk from the other.

A similar robbery took place the following day at Bremer Street Food Mart, 218 Bremer St. at 6:50 p.m. The above was taken from Sunday’s robbery.

The robber for both incidents is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-5 inches tall, 135 pounds. He was last seen on foot  wearing all black clothing, gloves, hood with a black balaclava-style hat. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun when he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from each store.
