Police to offer robbery prevention seminar for convenience store workers

MANCHESTER, NH – In response to the recent number of convenience stores robberies, the Manchester Police Department will be conducting a Robbery Prevention Seminar for convenience store owners and employees. This seminar will cover several topics, including prevention tips, employee safety and suggested actions both during and following a robbery.

A similar seminar was held in November of 2013 and drew about 50 attendees, police said.

This seminar runs for about an hour and is free of charge. It will be held on the following dates and times in the Manchester Police Department Community Room, 405 Valley St., Manchester NH.

October 23, 2014 at 10 a.m.
October 23, 2014 at 1 p.m.
October 30, 2014 at 6 p.m.

(Each seminar will be the same, there is no need to attend more than one seminar)
