MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances leading to the shooting reported on the morning of September 7, 2017. Thus far, the investigation has determined that the shooting occurred inside a rooming house located at 170 Amherst Street. The investigation has also resulted in charges being filed against Thomas Holland, 31, of Manchester, for being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Holland, who is shown in the attached photos.
Mr. Holland is described as being approximately 5-foot-10-inches tall, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Holland was a resident of 170 Amherst Street, but has not been seen there since the start of this investigation. He may possibly be driving a Jeep Cherokee-style SUV with either New York or New Jersey license plates (dark numbers on yellow).
Mr. Holland has residential history in North Haverhill, NH, Berlin, NH and Brockton, MA. There are also unconfirmed reports that Mr. Holland has family in Taunton, MA.
The following vehicles are also registered to Mr. Holland – a red 2000 Honda Accord coupe with NH license plate of 4224679 and a gray 2002 Lexus IS300 sedan with a NH license plate of 4243901
