Police: Man pulls stolen gun on 3 people in search of stolen phone

MANCHESTER NH – A city man out on bail was arrested Wednesday and charged with criminal threatening after police say he pulled a stolen gun on three Massachusetts residents who had come to Manchester to retrieve a stolen phone.

On February 28 at approximately 10 p.m., police officers responded to 264 Bridge St., Apt. #2, for a report of criminal threatening. The three victims, all of Lawrence, Mass., had come to Manchester to retrieve a stolen cell phone. They believed the phone had been stolen by a juvenile. When they confronted the accused female juvenile, a male identified as Fabio Baez exited the apartment pointing a handgun at them.

Arriving officers located Baez outside of the apartment. During the course of the investigation, officers located a Jimenez Arms .380 pistol. The firearm was reported stolen out of College Park, GA. Fabio Baez was arrested and charged with three counts of felony criminal threatening and one count of felony receiving stolen property. It was also determined that Baez is currently out on bail from the 9th Circuit District Manchester and additionally charged with violation of bail conditions. Baez was held at Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending arraignment at Hillsborough County North Superior Court.
