Police investigate ‘untimely death’ of a toddler

Screen Shot 2017 12 11 at 2.54.55 PMMANCHESTER, NH – At approximately 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 police responded to the 551 Howe Street for the report of an unconscious person. A 2-year-old child was taken by ambulance to Elliot Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Manchester Police detectives are leading the untimely death investigation, according to a police news release.

 

Several police cruisers were initially parked at the residence and officers appeared to be concentrating on the third floor of the three-story multi-family building.

Many of the cruisers eventually left the scene, with some cruisers later seen parked outside the Elliot Hospital. Two officers remained at the Howe Street residence, and appeared to be preventing entry to the third-floor apartment.
