MANCHESTER, NH – Just before 10 p.m. on Aug. 26 police responded to the area of 377 South Main St. for a report of shots fired.

Witnesses of the incident reported that a vehicle described as a dark-colored (possibly green) station wagon with two kayaks or canoes on the roof drove by a residence several times. The occupants of the station wagon stopped in a parking lot across the street and exited the vehicle. Both men yelled at the residents at 377 South Main St. and a short time later, three or four gunshots were heard, and the station wagon fled north on South Main Street., then east on Granite Street, but was lost sight of in the area of Canal Street.
