MANCHESTER, NH – The Attorney General’s office has returned to the city to investigate a fatal shooting in the area of 144 Lake Ave. Sunday afternoon.
A second area was blocked off by police behind 140 Central Street, where a weapon may have been recovered.
Neighbors at the scene say they believe those involved in the shooting knew one another and that it does not appear to be a random crime.

Police have confirmed the May 10 shooting near 144 Lake Avenue, and are referring all inquiries to the Attorney General’s office, through which all official information will be coming.
On Saturday morning the Assistant Attorney General Ben Agati was called on to investigate a fatal stabbing at Drynk night club. Joel Martin was arrested a short time later, charged with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Darrell Robinson. Martin is due to be arraigned May 11 in Boston.
