Police investigate armed robbery at Crosstown Variety

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Crosstown Variety store on Saturday night.

screen-shot-2017-01-07-at-9-40-56-pmAt approximately 7:15 p.m. police were called to Crosstown Variety, 77 Bremer St., for an armed robbery.  The investigation revealed that an unknown masked man entered the store armed with a black pistol and demanded cash.  The robber got an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in an unknown direction of travel.

A track with police dogs was attempted but was later terminated.  The robber was described as a white male in his 20s, about 5-foot-5 inches tall, wearing gloves, and a black mask.

    they need to get a damn gun and auto locking doors, and bullet proof glass at this place spend a few thousand and you will never be robbed again, people will see those defenses and not even bother. This place has been robbed more times then I can count obviously because even someone stupid enough to rob a convenient store (risk way higher then possible benefit) can even see they have no defense to it.
