MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police are investigating three armed robberies that happened over the weekend.
The first robbery happened Sat. June 13 at about 10 am. Police responded to Jon O’s Market, 600 Front St., for a reported robbery. The clerk told officers that a man entered the store with a hat and shirt covering his face to conceal his identity. He held a knife in his hand, approached the clerk at the counter and demanded money. The clerk complied. The robber then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Also on June 13 just before 9 p.m. police responded to the Sunoco Kwik Stop located at 1265 S. Willow St. for a reported robbery with similar details to the first robbery. The clerk informed officers that a robber entered the store with a hat and shirt covering his face and held a knife in his hand as he approached the clerk at the counter and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
As of this release, no photos or video are available. Detectives are investigating to see if those two incidents are related.
On June 15 just before 3 a.m. Manchester Police responded to 7-Eleven located at 557 Maple St. for a reported robbery. The clerk told police that two males entered the store concealing their faces with bandanas. One of the suspects held a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded the money. The clerk complied. The suspects then left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
